Course Description:
This course will examine recent discoveries in the scientific study of
happiness, aka Subjective Well-Being, their concrete implications for
student well-being and performance, and strategies to integrate these new
insights into existing curricula. We will also discuss some remarkable
points of convergence between the modern science of happiness and ancient
philosophical wisdom. For more details please refer to the syllabus.
This looks very exciting. I e-mailed U of Bridgeport in order to find out the cost. You might want to make it easier to find this piece of info. What if the class is oversubscribed? Will the University open other sections online?
